We perform all facets of general dentistry including check up’s, tooth cleaning, fluoride treatments, fissure sealants, X-rays and fillings. Prevention is the key and our aim is to conserve tooth structure and maintain gum health. This can be achieved through regular check-ups, X-rays and cleaning. Dental X-rays should taken approximately every 3 years to check in between teeth in order to diagnose small lesions which may be treated conservatively with fluoride and regular flossing. We are an amalgam free practice and specialise in placing aesthetic white composite resin fillings.
Come in and see us to discuss how we can improve your smile. We place white composite resin fillings, porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges, implants and also offer take home tooth whitening. Your teeth are not only for chewing; a happy healthy smile will improve your confidence and self-esteem.
Implants are currently the most successful long term procedure in dentistry. If you are missing a tooth or several teeth a dental implant may be a viable option to improve aesthetics and function. We refer our patients to a dedicated implant specialist to place the titanium screw in the bone then we organise the porcelain crown to be placed on top.
Gums (Periodontal Health)
Healthy gums are essential for healthy teeth. We believe in taking the time to show you how to look after your gums through good brushing and flossing techniques. We use fine tip ultrasonic scalers and hand instruments to remove plaque, tartar (calculus) and stains.
Root canal treatment
If the pulp tissue (nerve and blood vessels) of a tooth becomes infected/dies, a root canal treatment may be a necessary option to save the tooth. We perform root canal treatments with the latest technology to ensure the best possible outcome for your tooth. We take the time to explain the procedure and treatment options.
We perform minor oral surgery procedures such as removing teeth under local anaesthetic. We also have nitrous oxide gas available when required. We understand that having a tooth out can be a very daunting experience and we try to be as gentle as possible. If you require more complex procedures we can arrange a specialist oral surgeon to perform these for you. Before you have a tooth taken out we are happy to discuss the options for replacement by means of an implant, bridge work or a denture.
We welcome new patients including overseas travellers with dental emergencies such as tooth aches and broken teeth. Our long opening hours allow us to accommodate such emergencies.
